Red Wine Marinade: Date Added: 28 Jul 2011

1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients, stirring until well blended.

2. Marinate in a food-safe plastic bag or glass utility dish in refrigerator. Turn meat occasionally so that all sides are equally exposed to marinade.

3. Marinate for 15 minutes to 2 hours for flavor enhancement, or up to 6 hours to tenderize.
